Win a Photo Shoot With David LaChapelle

David LaChapelle, one of the most influential and iconic photographers of this generation, has partnered with MySpace to offer one lucky user the chance to win a customized photo shoot for their MySpace profile.

The winner of the contest will fly to David's legendary Los Angeles studio where they'll be treated to a uniquely tailored shoot based on their personality and MySpace profile.

"MySpace is a great form of communication and self expression. I am looking at my page, blogs, and this contest as an art project," said LaChapelle.

David LaChapelle was offered his first professional job while still in high school by Andy Warhol to shoot for Interview magazine. LaChapelle's photography has been showcased in numerous galleries and museums and his unfettered images of celebrity and contemporary pop culture have appeared on and between the covers of magazines such as Italian Vogue, French Vogue, Vanity Fair and Rolling Stone. American Photo recently ranked him as one of the top ten "Most Important People in Photography."

To enter the photo shoot contest, users can click on David's MySpace profile at http://www.myspace.com/davidlachapellestudio and follow the links to the registration section at the top of his profile.

Contest entrants must submit a 100 word MySpace message telling LaChapelle why they should win the photo shoot and why their MySpace page is the "best." Essays will be judged by David on the following judging criteria: 50% originality, 50% persuasiveness and after a winner is chosen, David will conceptualize the photo shoot from the winner's MySpace profile, along with the essay they submit.

Ten finalists will also each receive an autographed copy of David LaChapelle's new book "Heaven & Hell."

Entries for the photo shoot contest will be accepted until January 3, 2007. For more info. about the contest, visit www.myspace.com/davidlachapellestudio.
